Happy Anniversary Kat!!!

Wow, can't believe it's taken me a year to post on my blog, my gorgeous friend Kat has hounded me about it regularly and pointed out to me the date of my last post hence the title of this post!!! I have been creating and card making throughout the year, but just having got round to posting on here, no excuses really - although I have opened my own Private Kindergarten which has kept me busy, but now that that is running smoothly, I am hoping to keep blogging more often.

I am posting the card I created for my Mum's birthday, I can post it now as it's safely arrived in England and has been opened so I won't be spoiling the surprise. My Mum is one of my greatest fans, and whenever she receives a card she shows it to all her friends proclaiming my talents - if only she knew how easy stamping is and how easy it is if you use Stampin' Up! products!

I love this stamp set and don't use it often enough, maybe I'll pull it out more often now!

Kid's Mother's Day Class

I have just started running Children's Cardmaking Classes from home, and at our first one we made cards and a gift for Mother's Day - but I have been unable to post it, as many of their mums read my blog! The girls seemed to have a great time, and I loved working with them, can't wait till this Friday when we are making Birthday cards and a lolly bag.

Here are their creations:

A mother's day card, matching gift tag and a sour cream container with choccies inside, I hope all the lovely mummies out there are having a great Mother's Day, and being thoroughly spoiled.

Watercolouring Virgin! and welcome to Jodie

I saw an amazing card here using one of my new favourite sets 'Lots of Bots', I'm very fickle by favourites change regularly! I don't often CASE cards, but I was so inspired by this one, that I broke open the Watercolour Paper that has been in my stash for a very long time and gave it a go, I'm really happy with the results. I did this whilst spending some time with my new and first recruit Jodie, very exciting times, and she assures me that the watercolouring looks fine.



I enjoyed the colouring so much and found it very therapeutic that I was inspired to create a second card using the same technique. I have to say this set did nothing for me when I saw it in the Mini, but my daughter is always allowed to choose one set and this was her choice, no surprises there, having used it it has definitely grown on me!





Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed creating them, and hopefully in the not too distant future I'll be able to share some of Jodie's creations with you.

April's Stamp Club

Sorry for the long absence, blame school holidays, my mum visiting from the UK, an Icelandic volcano eruption etc, etc. Am hoping to have more time to stamp now as I have given up working for a living and am hoping (read as dreaming) to be a kept woman!

It's feeling so good to stamp again, have lots to share, April's stamp club was great fun. I went for simpler cards this month, that all used the Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch, which can be found in the current Mini Catalogue, to show its versatility, and we masking and sponging techniques.
